Val i Egypten

Idag påbörjas valet i Egypten. Mina vänner hejar på Hamdeen Sabahi så jag få utgå ifrån att han är den bäste :-).

Litet utdrag från Wikipedia om denna man. Som ni an läsa så har han stöd av Alaa Al Aswany och det är nog för att övertyga mig :-). Trevlig läsning.

Hamdeen Sabahi the leader of the Dignity Party (Egypt) and one of the leaders of the Egyptian opposition before the 2011 Egyptian revolution. He is a candidate for the 2012 Egyptian presidential election.^[1][2] He graduated from faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University.

A well known opposition figure, Sabahi ascribes to Nasserism and in 1996 he founded the Nasserist Karama (Dignity) Party.^[2][3] Sabahi intends to run as an independent and not as the Dignity Party's candidate. One of the few secular figures without any ties to the regime of Hosni Mubarak, Sabahi has attracted the support of several leading Nasserists. Sahabhi is running under the slogan "one of us" which highlights his strong ties with the working class and advocates his socialist aspirations. Sabahi also gained the support of prominent Egyptian figures including: scientist Ahmed Zewail, writer and political activist Alaa Al Aswany and director and film-writer Khaled Youssef. ^[2][4]
